HART and CAIR Cushion Technology
The CAIR Cushion System uses sealed air-filled panels designed to distribute the rider’s weight across the horse’s back and help absorb impact during movement. The cushions themselves are not intended to be inflated or deflated by the user.
The EASY-CHANGE Riser System provides a separate method for adjusting panel depth with compatible inserts. A qualified saddle fitter can help assess whether the saddle’s panel configuration and overall fit suit the horse.
Fit and Maintenance
Before purchasing, confirm the saddle’s seat size, tree width, condition, and compatibility with your horse. The saddle typically comes fitted with a Medium (black) gullet plate, but alternative widths may be available separately.
Clean the synthetic surface after riding to remove sweat and dirt. Inspect the billets, stitching, stirrup bars, and panels regularly. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and avoid opening the sealed CAIR cushions.
