Bates Caprilli Close Contact Plus Saddle

Product Description

The Bates Caprilli Close Contact Plus Saddle is a premium English jumping saddle designed to provide riders with excellent balance, stability, and close contact with their horses. Built for show jumping, hunter riding, and everyday schooling, it combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced saddle-fitting technology to support rider comfort and horse freedom of movement.

Crafted from double-lined Opulence leather, the saddle offers a soft, grippy surface that helps riders maintain a secure position over fences. Its carefully shaped seat and streamlined close-contact design promote effective communication between horse and rider, while the adjustable rear Flexibloc helps customize leg support for different riding styles.

The saddle features the CAIR Cushion System, which uses air-filled panels to distribute the rider’s weight and cushion the horse’s back. The EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution combines interchangeable gullet plates with adjustable riser inserts, allowing the saddle’s fit and balance to be adapted to the horse’s conformation. Broad, tapered panels are designed to support the horse’s working muscles while allowing freedom of movement.

Additional features include an Elastiflex tree, ergonomic stirrup bars, a recessed stirrup-leather channel, and the Quick-Change Girth Point System. Available in different seat sizes and flap configurations, the Bates Caprilli Close Contact Plus is a versatile option for riders seeking performance, comfort, and a premium leather finish.
